They weren't designed with a conscious aesthetic intention, rather, thay came from a more direct, manual way of making things.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLisbon is one of the European cities where many of these small graphics jewels still survive. Between tildes facades, weathered buildings and steep streets, these signs remain part of the city's everyday landscape.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis fanzine doesn't aim to enter the debate of whether the old is better than the new.
